Mdl 1894 insurance question

Post by clev »

I bought a new Model 1894, .44 RemMag about 1970 from the Fort Bragg PX and have shot less than 50 rounds through it. I'm updating my Homeowners and need a value to declare. It is in excellent condition with SN: 71 1401xx. Can/will someone help me with an estimated value? No, the weapon is not for sale.

Also, doing a search, I found numerous members asking questions about disassembly. I'm attaching a link that I use when do a complete take down on this weapon:

http://www.marauder.homestead.com/files/Marlin94

If the link doesn't work, just start with the 'www' part and find the links from the home page.

Thanks, in advance for any info.

Correction to Mdl 1894 takedown.....

Post by clev »

In my previous post, I provided a link but when I tried it, it did not work. If you're interested in striping an 1894, follow these links:

http://www.marauder.homestead.com

next, COWBOY ACTION...., next, Old Iron Page, next, Rifle Tuneups; and then choose from 5 model 94 links. These will give ALL instructions on disassembly of the Marlin Model 1894. Sorry the link didn't work.
