Marlin Model 90 218 Bee over 410
I see there is a very interesting small-bore model 90 that is a 218 Bee over a 410 at Cowan's Auction on 10/23, lot 234. It looks quite nice and maybe slightly upgraded as it is checkered. I have never seen this before and am intrigued. Any history on these. I think they are fairly rare. I am thinking about buying but don't know the value.

MajorRichards;
According to Brophy, no more than 500 combination Model 90 shotguns were manufactured. The .218 Bee caliber guns were made on special order only, so more than likely, they will be extremely rare.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

Did you end up buying it? I noticed it had both incorrect sights on the gun. Curious how they attached that long plastic front sight on the barrel. I certainly hope they didn't drill and tap for a screw?!?!
