Model 1892 Marlin Safety .22
I recently acquired a model 1892 marlin safety .22 with serial number 227364. I know nothing about firearms, so any info would be appreciated. The gun looks all original, and is in great shape. Any idea of the value of this firearm? I would post pictures, but I cannot figure out how to do it.

Figuring values sight unseen is impossible. Values can range from maybe $100 to a couple thousand dollars, and even more depending on condition, features, and rarity of the firearm.

It looks like a pretty well cared for 1892 Marlin. The stocks appear to have had some newer finish applied to them, which will detract from the value. If it's got a excellent bore, and functions great it should be in the $700 range from what I've seen sell in recent years.
