1881 butt stock

Post by Kansasplowboy »

I picked up a cut down ‘81 in 45-70 a while back. It’s been cut back to 18” which makes it really nice to handle and shoot both. Got a decent bore and is a hoot to shoot. Some where in the distant past the stock was damaged and about 4” was replaced at the butt. Wondering if anyone would have an extra or know the whereabouts of one. Don’t need a real nice one just something made out of the same piece of wood!

Kansasplow boy;

Precision Gun Stocks of Kerrville, Texas makes a nice replacement stock.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
