any help instruction is appreciated.

I have been trying to research a marlin model, 1894, and the serial number indicates it was manufactured circuit 1901. The other information I have is that it's supposed between the receiver, and the barrel. It is a model C. It is for sale, but there is a "gap" between the receiver, and the barrel. I had watched a video of how to take down a Marlin takedown model. But this rifle I am viewing, doesn't seem to be the more recent type of takedown.

I was going to attempt to include a photo, but as you can see, I clicked on "img" and I really don't know how to use it.and I really don't know how to use it.Image any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
