Model 93 Early Serial Number
Just recently purchased a Model 93 with a Serial Number of 636. I checked with the Cody Muesuem and they have no records. I would appreciate any assistance in determining the date of production. Thanks

The Marlin Model '93 came out in 1921. With a low serial number like yours, it most likely is a first year production gun.

Don't confuse an "early serial number" '93 with the model 1893 that have much larger serial numbers, even though they're all much earlier. When the Model '93 tang stamp began after WWI the new company began serial numbers all over again.
