age of marlin 33 caliber
How do I find the age of a marlin 33 caliber lever action. Serial starts with the first three # 437. I think early 1900.

Ecurb;
The .33 Winchester caliber cartridge did not come until 1912. A Marlin with a serial number in the 437,000 range is late 1912 or early 1913.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
