Camp 9 peep sights

I've had a Camp 9 for a ling time.
Good shooter if you use light bullets.
I've been looking for peep sights for it for a while.
Never found anything.
I roughly modified a M1 Carbine rear sight to work.
Problem is the front sight is way to low.
I'm like to find something with protective ears.
Tallest M1 Carbine sight I could find is still a little to low.
I think a Ruger PC rifle front sight might work.
Can't find one, Everyone is out of stock.
I'd like to find the dimensions, but can't find that either.
Any else tried to do this????
