ChanceMcCall;

The Association holds an annual meeting and show each year with awards for displays. There are always other knowledgeable members present to talk "shop" with and maybe even get to buy that long desired piece for your collection. The Association also puts out a newsletter with information about Marlins and listings of stuff for sale and items wanted by others. The Association has just made up a reproduction of the old Marlin Watch Fob as pictured and described on page 688 of the Brophy book. These were made as key chains to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Marlin Firearms Company. There is a limited number going to be available ( just not yet ) and are serial numbered. Members also get special prices for certain new products made available from Marlin.
One other benefit is that the Association has copies of factory records for the old lever action guns from 1882 to 1906, shotgun records around the turn of the century, records of the Century Limited Brace of 1000 that shows when the guns were packed and when and where shipped. Also have records for the Zane Grey guns, the 90th Anniversary guns and other information, that is free to paid up members.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
