I am having trouble getting the eye relief right by mounting a short scope. Does anyone have 1" scopes that will mount right on this rifle.
I would appreciate any tips.

Any 1" scope will mount right on if you get rings for a .22 rail. Numerous companies sell 1" rings for mounting them on a .22 rail. I've used Millett and like them.
