Got some Ballard 44 Extra Long ammo. Who can tell me about it? They are shot shells.

Are your .44XL cartridges CF or RF? I'd guess if they are marked on the base, they should be CF cartridges. Not sure what to tell you. There weren't a lot of guns chambered to handle the .44 Ballard XL. The Ballard rifles, and some Frank Wessons also were chambered for the cartridge.

They are center fire.
