Have Marlin Golden 39A with Serial #V2792. Can someone tell me something about it, Year built & etc?

The marlin 39 in question was made between August 1968 thru 1969.

Bud - Chief provided an incorrect answer; your 39A was made in 1962

Thanks for the info. Giving 39A to 12 year old grandson. Already sent him to training and safety and he has really gotten interested in sport.
