mod 47 parts

I'm looking for parts for a modle 47. I have the right side of the gun. The left side should have barrel attached. Will the modle 20 parts inter change with the mod 47 ?

Hi, the Marlin mod 20A parts will interchange, as will the model 29 & 37. The model 29 had the same round 23" barrel, but the model 47 had a new style magazine tube from all the others. It may not be easy to find "half" a rifle, to rebuild yours as a composite of 2 different models, although it would then be functional. I have numerous Marlin pumps for sale (check the buying & selling forum), as well as some parts - feel free to contact me anytime. Also, if your model 47 has the tang and serial number info, I am quite interested for my database. Thanks and good luck! chrifle
