Marlin 882 1 or 2 screws securing action/barrel to stock?

Post by markush »

Hi guys i need some help please. I have an older Marlin 882 with only one screw/bolt holding the entire action/barrel assembly to the stock. I want to have a custom stock made but i'm being told that they only make stocks with 2 screws securing the action? Every photo i have ever seen only shows one screw securing the action to the stock like mine....what am i missing, where is the supposed second screw? Thanks!
