Marlin .45 Govt
I have a Marlin .45 Govt rifle. Serial #5404. My father-in-law recently passed. Trying to help my mother-in-law with identifying this rifle.

I read those instructions before but it’s way beyond my skill level. I did email the pics to you. Found out from another site it’s a Marlin model 1881 45-70 manufactured in 1883.
