Re: Marlin Hammer Pump Shotgun Disassembly in Pictures
I've just bought a Marswells Model 1914 and joined the board here.
I found a version of the "Marlin Hammer Pump Shotgun Disassembly in Pictures" pinned post that has the missing pictures.
I'm too new here to be able to upload it (I guess) and am also unable to private message "Regnier (gunrunner)" or someone to get permission.
So, here are the steps needed for a person to be able to get the version-with-pictures themselves:
I hope that this helps others as much as it has helped me.
Cheers...

- In your browser, go to www.archive.org. (this is the "Wayback Machine" that has been taking snapshots of the Internet for a long time)
- On the Archive.org homepage, copy the web address of the "disassembly in pictures" post (http://marlin-collectors.com/forum/view ... f=8&t=8880) into the box to the right of the "wayback machine" label and press return
- <the wayback machine looks back to see when the post has been included in a snapshot....>
- You want a date that is as soon after the date of the original post (11/29/2009) as possible, so click on the box near the top which has "2010" below it
- <the wayback machine loads the year 2010>
- notice that November 18 has a blue circle, that means the wayback machine took a snapshot of the "disassembly in pictures" post on that day
- hover the mouse over the blue circle (a small pop-up window appears describing the snapshot having been taken at 22:57:24 hours.
- click on that time and the wayback machine will go get the snapshot of the post
- Wait for the page to load (the pictures take the longest). It will be a few minutes
- Once all the pictures have loaded, save the web page in whatever way your web browser allows
I hope that this helps others as much as it has helped me.
Cheers...
