Glenfield 22LR age
Hi, I need some assistance with the age of a Marlin-Glenfield Model 60- Squirrel stock, 22LR. Stamped on the barrel on left side just below rear sight is DL M229. No other numbers are visible. Any clue? Thank You, David

What I read on another post was subtract the first 2 numbers from 2000 and that would be a manufacturing date of 1978.
