I need to replace a finger lever screw on a 39-A and current screws are threaded 8-40TPI while the firearm I have is threaded 6-40TPI.
Yes I could open the threads on the lever post however I was wondering if anyone has seen this before? As a smith, my duty is to keep the firearm as original as possible. Anyone know a source of parts for the smaller thread dimensions?
