SBL front sight

Hi all! I recently purchased the 1895 trapper, i love everything about it with the exception of the front sight. My eyesight isnt the best anymore and the white front sight is blurry for me, was wondering if the fiber sight on the 1895 SBL would fit/work on the trapper? I would hate to resort to a scope because the whole reason for getting the trapper was to carry light and quick handling for tracking deer here in the northeast. Any help would be appreciated.
