Marlin Rifle Age

Post by Dobber »

Hello. I’m new to the group! My Father recently passed away and left me a 22 Marlin Original Golden-39M. I don't have a manual or even know what year it’s from. The serial # is 19248987. If anyone can help me with this, I would really appreciate it!!

First two digits subtracted from 2000 give the age. So yours would be 1981. Any Model 39A or 39M manual will have the correct instructions for disassembly. But you can also find huge amounts of info many places on the internet.
