Marlin model 90

Post by ffreeb »

A while ago I bought a model 90 in 16 gauge from a friend of mine who has owned a LGS for a long time. He said he had never seen this before, that’s why he bought it, and it was priced accordingly. It has 2 sets of barrels that are both numbered with the same serial number as the gun. Does anyone have more information about this?

Ffreeb;

There are other Model 90's with multiple barrels out there. At the most recent meeting of the Marlin Firearms Collectors Association,Ltd. in Wilmington, Ohio, there was a Model 90 on display that was shipped with three (3) barrels. It is uncommon, but it did happen in more than just your case.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
