Model 336

Post by Labrad03 »

I have inherited a model 336 .35 Remington that belonged to my great uncle in terrific shape. My dad told me Uncle Herman wouldn’t hunt with anything else. He kept it for decades & passed it to my uncle who had it for years himself. I love this rifle! I am currently sitting in a shooting house with the rifle in my lap. I was curious about the year of manufacture. Is there any information around serial number stats that would determine age of the gun? Thanks for any information anyone may have to offer!

Labrad03;

Check the first two posts under the section titled "General Gun Questions and Answers" and you will find serial number information to determine the year of manufacture.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
