93 carbine in 25-36?
Are there any records of a 93 SRC being produced in .25-36?

I've seen more than one. But there are no records existing for any Marlin marked "Model '93" as all were made after Marlin stopped keeping records.
Marlin lever actions 1870's-WWI, Ballards, and single shot rifles!

Thanks for the reply. I looked through all the info I had and could find no mention of that caliber. The only ones listed were 30-30 and 32 HPS

Kansasplowboy;
The Marlin catalogs of the period up to 1915 did list the Model 1893 in .25-36 caliber. The 1915 catalog was used by Marlin Arms Corporation and Marlin-Rockwell up to about 1917, and the .25-36 was still listed. The May, 1916 Marlin Arms price list does list the .25-36 caliber carbines as available.
The 1922 catalog does not list the.25-36 caliber as available. So, any Model '93 in .25-36 was most likely assembled with a left over barrel from the Marlin Firearms Company that sold out in December of 1915.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
