Picked up a marlin 1892 at a gun auction last week they had it listed as a 32 but noticed it to be a 22 cal was high bidder at 600.00. Gun is a marlin 1892 special order deluxe 26" barrel mfg 1907 80% wood and metal. like to know any info. can't find anything on it. thank you

By "deluxe" is your new gun a pistol grip checkered version? If so that's not extremely rare, but it is very desirable, and a great find, especially at $600!
