The pictures are of a Ballard rifle I've been salvaging from a scrape heap. The butt stock seems to be maple. The forearm is walnut. It is a .32w which shoots .32-20. Can anyone tell me the model? I am also interested in any other information about this rifle anyone can provide.

D Butt;
First off, thank you for your service to our country, Marline!
Now, to post pictures on this site, go to the "Guest Section" of the message board, and look for the post "Old Marlin in New Zealand". There, Road King gives very good instructions on posting pictures with your post.
A .32-20 caliber Ballard should be a Number 2 Sporting rifle, but would really like to see pictures. Your posted links do not work for me.
Looking forward to your reply.......

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
