This was my Ballard schuetzen rifle display at Oregon Arms Collectors annual 2 day collector show. Some really great displays this year! Always think they're great, and then the next year they're even better!

Vall;
Very nice!! Other than the cased Schoyen Ballard, is there any other well known custom gunsmiths represented? Several have "the look" of some well known gunsmiths.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

Bottom left on the table is another Schoyen Ballard false muzzle gun in .38-55. Bottom left on the board is a Zettler Bros. based on a #6 Schuetzen, but in .22 Short. Above that a #8 Union Hill. 2nd from the top is a special order engraved Ballard that doesn't fall into a model number. Top is a very special #2 done up in Union Hill style.Regnier (gunrunner) wrote:Vall;

Bottom right on the table is the other Schoyen. Above it on the board is a fairly new circa 2000 Ballard Rifle Co. Schoyen clone in .22 match chamber. Above it is a Rigby and a #9 Union Hill.

Pretty tight race between the .38-55 Schoyen, and the Ballard Rifle Co. Schoyen in .22LR. The .38-55 has shot 3/4" groups at 100 yds. As distance gets farther it pulls ahead of the .22LR.Regnier (gunrunner) wrote:Vall;
