did any one ever find an answer to pigpens question , ??? i also have a 933 with serial # 922m86** have been searching other sites trying to find out date of manufacture ,and have not found an answer to this question.. no one seems to ... anybody

Know this is way late in replying.
918pigpen's 922M S/N 922m6386 would have been made in 1994. Should have walnut hand-cut checkering.
nuclearmac's 922M S/n 922m86** according to the code is manufactured in 1992. The problem is the catalogs didn't show the 922M until the 1993 catalog. It is possible that they started manufacturing, before it was in the catalog, seen this before. Should be walnut stock with no checkering.
