Hi Guys.
I'm a new member who stumbled across your Association while doing some research for a gun I intend to sell. I have a Marlin 455-30-06 in absolutely mint condition. I understand this is a rather rare piece and want to sell it for a fair price.
I don't know if this is proper on this site, but I would be willing to offer my personal email address for further discussion if requested.

Flatlander-
I'm not sure if you are with the auction house, but . . . they were not "pristine". The 455 and 322 both had butt pads added to them and the 422 was a complete redo, both wood and metal. I feel sorry for the poor sucker that bought that 422, it was a train wreck. The winning bidder was on the phone (with the owner, who was onsite) . . . listening to the owner tell him what a nice gun it was. It sold for over $1700.
