That is a really beautiful gun! The only thing I know for sure about it is that the "K" serial number indicates it was made in 1953. Engraving likely aftermarket unless it was a special presentation gun.

Do all the serial numbers match? (barrels, frame, forearm iron and on the end of the stock under the recoil pad?

Just curious, but what is the gauge and barrel length?

Any interest in selling it?

The buttstock is not original to the gun. It was swapped off another Marlin. I am interested in selling but I don't know how to price it.

Is it a 12, 16 or 20 ga.? 26" or 28" barrel?

How did you find this gun? Did it belong to a family member? From an estate sale?

Have you thought about what you might want for it?
