What is the approximate value of a Marlin 120 MXR 12 ga., 40" barrel in 95% condition?

The barrel by itself is unusual & might bring 150 - 175. The shotgun won't add much to that. This is strictly a GUESS as one can never really anticipate what any given item might - or might not - bring on any given day. SW
I am really not an expert - distinguished or otherwise!!

There was a 40" barrel on fleabay a while back that sold for over $200. Check gunbrokers and auction arms for the same model. A gentleman had one 2 barrel set (28"& 30")listed on GB that I bid up to $375 but he wanted $400 and I still see it posted every once in awhile. The cut checkering models bring a little more than the earlier pressed model.
Hope this Helps, John

The last Marlin Model 120 MXR pump shotgun with a 40" barrel in 95% original condition or better sold for $350 at auction...I have been looking to buy one to match the one my father has so we can pass them down to my two boys for future hunters to enjoy who appreciate the guns for what they are. If you run across someone who has one for sale, please let me know. Thanks!

I've seen a couple of the 40" models sell for over $400 lately. They are getting harder to find. I'd snap it up if you have the chance.
