That quite a piece of "plumbing" you have on top of that barrel. Nice.....

Beautiful rifle. Is it safe to shot and if so, have you shot it.
I love the machine work of years ago. Back when every gun was hand crafted, just fantastic. I love the scope.

The gun is a new production H&R Model 1871 Buffalo Classic and will handle Ruger #1 level loads, that's 50,000 CUP and yes I've shot some thru it but without this scope on it. I shoot Trapdoor loads in it with this scope on it, 18,000 CUP.
