Read your answer on # 53,wondering if you know anything on Mountie #68 just curious

Number 68 of 500 Marlin Model 39-A Mountie of the 90th Anniversary guns was shipped to Remco of Chicago, Illinois. It was packed on 6-14-1960 and shipped on 6-15-1960. I do not need to tell you the serial number as you already know that.

Thank you,I am not sure why but the shipping carton I have with the gun is post marked to the man who's estate I purchased it from in 1968,must have been returned for some reason.I didn't think it could have laid around for 8 years though.I appreciate your checking for me Mike b/t/w its still new with the box and 1968 shipping carton
