I've got a 1894C, and recently installed a one piece firing pin, trigger happy kit, marlin "fix", and a spring kit.
I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet...
Anybody else do any of this?

The trigger work yes, the kit makes them so sweat. Especially if you have had one that takes 8lbs to fire.

I did a trigger job on every new Marlin I have. I've never tried a one piece firing pin, though. SW
I am really not an expert - distinguished or otherwise!!

Is there a "best" source for parts? Or would it be better to ask what are the best sources of parts for our Cowboy guns. I'm particulaly interested in one-piece firing pin, spring kit, getting rid of the cross-bolt safety? Other?

I have both an 1895 in 45-70 and an 1894 Cowboy in .45 Colt.

I used brownells for most of it.
