1895 Cowboy rifle in 45-70.

Post by djh »

This is an 1895 Cowboy rifle in 45-70 that I refinished. Converted to pistol grip and replaced the origional wood with Steel Crescent buttplated stock. I refinished the wood to my liking.

It has a Vernier Tang sight and front Globe sight.

djh;

Now those are two fine looking rifles you have. With that tang sight on the Model 1895, how far have you sighted it in for? They ought to be a "blast".
Have fun.........

The 1895CB is sighted in at 200 yards using a 405 gr Meister .458 bullet.
