This is a Model 1894 Cowboy Rifle in 44-40 I just finished. I installed a Pistol Grip stock with Crescent Buttplate on it.

Thats a fine looking rifle! I assume you replaced the factory wood? Also, what is the source of the crescent buttplate?

Yellowhouse:

The stock is origional Marlin and it came from Marlin. I re-finished it to my liking.

djh, I'd like to get a straight stock no checks for my 1894. Where can I get one?

Savvy Jack:

So sorry for the delay in responding to your question.

Try Precision Gun Stocks at http://www.precisiongunstocks.com

Look under Cowboy Action.

Hope this helps.
