Marlin cowboy production numbers

Post by daville »

Is there anyone that has the production numbers for the cowboy series? I have recently become interested in the newer Marlins. I know that .32H&R and .41magnum calibers are rare, but how rare???? While we are looking how about the Classic series? Thanks

The only production numbers available, I believe, are for the special runs done for Davidsons and TALO...

I have the 1894 numbers as follows:

1894 Cowboy Carbine LTD, 32-20 Winchester - 501 made for Davidsons (serial #CCLxxxxx)
1894 Cowboy Carbine LTD, 41 Magnum - 1001 made for Davidsons (serial #CCLxxxxx)
1894 Cowboy Carbine LTD, 45 Colt - 1001 made for Davidsons (serial #94IVxxxx)
1894 Cowboy Limited 44-40 - 326 made for Davidsons (serial #1894Dxxx
1894 Cowboy Limited 45 Colt - 100 made for TALO (laser engraved stock)

There were also special runs of 1895 models.
