I just bought a model 1889 pump shotgun that was missing a few parts hoping to put it back together with the spare parts that I have.(this model doesn't have the recoil block safety) But when I treid to put the carrier in I found that on the older shotguns the sear channel and the carrier channel in the receiver are cut different and the carrier would not line up.
I was wondering if anyone had an extra carrier for one of the older versions.
Thanks ernie

Ernie;
I have an extra shell lifter that should be from a Model 1898. All the other parts that I got with this lifter is from a Model 1898, so this should be too. '

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
