Hello All, I have just picked up a model 90 with two barrel sets. Both are with matching ser #.
does anyone have any idea how many of these set were made and if they are worth a bit of a premium. There is nothing that I could find in the marlin bible.

There were some two barrel sets made, and most likely on special order. I know of one three (3) barrel set that was made up for one of Marlin's dealers that wanted a special set when he visited the factory. How many were made? Who knows other than the factory, and the records of the Model 90 have never been thoroughly researched as far as I know.
Yes, the extra barrel with matching serial number would add to the value.
