Just picked up a Model 19-S, wanting to look up the serial #

Post by HarveyMushman »

Hello,

I just picked up a Marlin Model 19-s 12ga pump. I have no intention of shooting it, but I would like to learn a little more about it.

I read through all the questions regarding the 19-s, but didn't see any place where I could look up my serial number (A10096).

Is there such a place?

I have a Winchester 1896, made in 1911 or 1918 (forget wich). This marlin will make a nice companion for that one. :D

Thank you,

HM

HarveyMushman;

The old Marlin records do not include any of the Model 19's. A Model 19 with the "A" serial number prefix is one of those guns assembled from parts on hand by the Marlin-Rockwell Corporation during WWI. That is as close as we can get for now.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.

Thank you Sir, that's good enough for me.
