I have a Model 30G in 16 gauge that has seen better days. The stock at one point was broken by the pistol grip
and then the gun was left to rust, the bore however is very shinely. I bought it cheap, have cleaned the rust off, and started to repair the stock. The bolt release does not properly function however. The bolt remains unlocked unless the release is manually pushed forward toward the muzzle. I've taken it apart and took these pictures of the parts that may be responsible for the problem, here is a link to a picture

It looks to me that maybe the spring in the lower left is broken. Does anyone have a parts diagram or is familiar with what things should look like that can give me an idea what the problem is. I like these old pumps.
Thanks

Re: Marlin 30G questions
Many thanks on that, at first I was a bit discouraged because the part next to the safety block in the diagram did not look like the corresponding part on my 30G, but I was tinkering around this morning and the spring at
the bottom of the safety block when assembled pushes against the top of the trigger guard bowing it in
such a way that it pushes the safety hook forward into the correct locked position. The problem is that it
doesn't stay there. Either because the spring is to short or there is some side to side play. I think I am getting a better handle on the problem.
