How to Identify a Miller ST Conversion

Post by BarkeyVA »

I have a Model 90 16 ga. Skeetking, made in 1939 or '40, that has a single trigger. Marlin did not offer a production single trigger Model 90 until 1954. The shape and position of the inertia weight on my gun is distinctly different from the picture of the production Model 90ST introduced in 1954. In Brophy's book, he mentions Miller conversions. Does anyone have a documented Miller single trigger conversion? If so, are there any identifying features or special marks on the components? If you have one, can you provide a picture of the Sear and inertia weight?

qrst233's four posts, including this one, have absolutely nothing to do with shotguns. This one is definitely not relevant to my question about Miller ST conversions.
