I have acquired a Marlin 410 lever action shotgun in pretty good shape about 80% . The serial number is located under the handle and is 375. It needs a front sight bead and a firing pin.
Can anybody point me in the right direction for parts and also tell me about this gun?
Thanks in advance for any help.

The lever action Marlin Model 410 was available from 1929 to 1932. The Model 410 used as a stock option give-a-way gun. Someone that purchased 4 shares of Marlin Preferred Stock for $100.00 received their choice of a free gun and the Model 410 was one of them.
The action and many parts of the Model 410 are the same as the Marlin Model 1893 or '93 rifle. A firing pin from one of those will work. Go to http://www.wisnersinc.com for a new firing pin.
The front sight is a small, round silver bead. Check the hole size in the barrel and go to http://www.brownells.com for a new bead front sight.
I hope this helps.
