Marlin 1898?

Post by hafcanadian »

Is there a way to post a photo to this thread? I am trying to identify a couple of shotguns in an old family photo. The year of earliest possible manufacture may help identify the fellows in the photo by their age.
From what I can tell, and I'm no expert, I believe one gun to be a Marlin 1898 pump, and the other a Winchester 1897 pump.
Thanks,
Joel

Joel;

There are very good instructions on how to post pictures on the website. Go to the "GUEST" section, here on the message board and look for the post "Old Marlin in New Zealand". There, Road King describes the process necessary to post a photograph.
Good luck........
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
