Marlin Mk II
I recently purchased a Mk II 12 gaugewith two barrels in mint condition. While going over it for inspection I was able to remove the barrel, forend and bolt assembly but could not get the trigger assembly pins to budge in the receiver. The trigger assembly is retained in the receiver by two large cross pins like a Remington 870. These pins won't move in either direction. Shouldn't they just push out either side like other shotgun deisgns or is there a different procedure on these guns?

Re: Marlin Mk II
Soaked the two cross pins with a little oil for a few days and then used a larger hammer and punch and got them out. The trigger group is like an 870 but the cross pins are held in place by friction fit between them and the alloy receiver and not with spring legs in a pin detent like an 870.
