Brophy wrote that Sears used the JC Higgins brand name for Marlin Model 90's sold by Sears after WWII. Earlier this year. after over 4 years of checking this and other web sites, the various online auction sites, etc., I saw a listing for a Sears JC Higgens Model 90 ("P" serial no.). The price was reasonable so I bought it, mainly because it was a 16 ga. and it was the only JC Higgins Model 90 I had ever seen.
I'm curious to know if anyone else has a JC Higgins Model 90. Are they really that rare?
