Looking for 1895 .45-70 LTD II

Post by VAUGHN P. JONES » Mon Dec 22, 2014 12:24 pm

Hello !

My first post. New to Marlin (I don't own one yet) but am planning a bear hunt for this fall.
Would like to know which of the available .45-70 factory loads anyone recommends for black bear.
I do not reload. Also is there info available for bullet drop. I know it is significant and I would like
to know how high to aim (iron sights) at 50-100-150-200 yards.

Also, if anyone can point me in the direction of an available LTD II with the 24" barrel, I would be
much obliged.
