Did Marlin make the 1895 45-70 in a pistol grip, gold trigger, white spacers? If they did, What years? Thank yea....

Yes. The first Marlin Model 1895S Sporter was made in 1981. When Marlin added the "Cross Bolt Safety", it became the 1895SS Sporter (1984)
In the late 1990's, Marlin added checking to the stock. The last catalog to show this version with the white line spacers and pistol grip is 2000. In 2002 (to 2005), the pistol grip is back but without the white line spacers.

Thanks...This helps a real lot....Will start shopping for 1, maybe 2 for my Son and I. We both have enjoyed the 30-30's similiar to this style. I owned a .444 before also. If anyone knows or has a couple for sale, let me know. Again, thank you for the Expert advice and quick too!
