HELP
I have a ballards and i just could make out the comapny name and patten year. I have a question my barrel is 24 inches long and octogone the whole lenght and has set site views and the modle number is 23503 can any one tell me the cailber of this gun and it is in pretty good shape all oringal parts. how much could it be worth

We really need far more information about your Ballard rifle to help you with identification. The 24 inch barrel would tend to indicate it would be either a Number 2 Sporting rifle or a Number 3 Gallery rifle. It would help if you could post a picture of your Ballard. It would also help if you could get a set of calipers and measure the bore diameter and post that size to identify the caliber.
