I have a 336 in 35 rem that I purchased around 30 years ago from a friend of my fathers. I’ve used it every deer season here in Wisconsin and I love the gun. I purchased a second hand one for my son around 10 years ago and he’s been using it since. I’m trying to figure out how we can tell when these guns were made. Mine has a serial number on it that starts with what looks like a W and then 35239. I’m thinking of retiring the gun as it’s in beautiful shape and if it has any value I’d like to pass it along to my son. Can anyone help me determine the age of this rifle?? Thanks
