Collection Update

Post by Road King »

Hi everyone, well it's been a while since I have updated Brian's Home for Wayward Marlins. I found this Model 1888 a while back. It is in .44-40 , 24" barrel and full magazine. The rifle has all the original parts and stocks. The only drawback is that a previous owner had done sone inlays in the wood. the inlays are tastefully done and seeing that 1888s in any condition are hard to find I can live with this. This one is serial #21217 putting DOM 1888 for production.

Nice! Congrats! If you can't live with the inlays, I'll be happy to give it a home!

A very nice 1888, and I like period modifications done well myself. If it looked like something done around a campfire I might not be attracted to it. But those are very nice looking changes.
Marlin lever actions 1870's-WWI, Ballards, and single shot rifles!
